You have followed this dirt path for a long long while,
And trekked across many a mile.
Now after the distance you had to roam,
You finally feel that you could be home.
Come, who may, and rest your feet;
Let the Wolf fetch something to eat.
Come nightfall the peacefulness flees,
As Ancient ones bring us to our knees.
But fret not, my friend, or let trouble your soul,
Those Gods sure can party with that ol' rock and roll!
So grab a robe and kick off your shoes,
It's almost time for you to choose,
Whether you will go or you will stay,
And help us dance the night away.
Whate'er in your heart you see,
Goddess bless you, let you see,
Where ever in your path you rove,
You're ever welcome at the Grove.

As you practice you begin to see,
A glowing sphere surrounding thee.
Full of colors like red and gold,
Your Aura shelters your very soul.
Anew we begin, and see the light;
The protection we have from society's black night.
Seven points on bodies lie,
Where color most can be espied.
Chakras, points of spiritual grace,
Most spirit power lies in this place.
Each spot is blessed by Goddess' love,
Hecate, Isis, Mother above,
Each Goddess' heart like a lotus bloom,
Never too full for one to have room,
They help with children young and old.
Some are gentle, some more bold.
But all the Goddess's have one thing in their heart,
With their Children they desire ne'er to part.

Goddess and God, Lady and Lord,
Teach me the ways of Freyr and Njord.
By many names You have come to be known,
Teach me, dear ones, what others have been shown.
Teach me of Zeus, his wife and Children;
Show me yourselves, lady Freyja and Woden.
Teach me of what the Romans believed.
Let me learn of you, Isis, all the knowledge I need.
Great Mother Kali, let your spirit be my guide,
Athena of the Greeks, let your sword of Justice be by my side.
Hecate of the Magick, that steers my endeavors,
And even young Loki, the sly and the clever.
Each of the Gods has a story to tell,
As how the old Kingdom of Asgard once fell.
In these newer times the Gods still arise.
Those who believe will feel their heart fly.
Of all the things that The Ancient ones desire,
Is to give you the Knowledge to spiritually set the world afire.

You sit by yourself in the wooded Grove,
Wondering if you'll always be alone.
Through the trees you hear a noise,
Perhaps just a child playing with his toys.
Slowly you stand and approach the edge;
And then you jump back startled to your seated ledge.
For through the bushes, eyes peer back at you.
Nine pairs of eyes, some gold, some blue.
You take a step forward and hear in your heart;
Fear not, dear child, for of you we are part.
We come to you now, not in madness but peace,
Those lonely feelings now will forever cease.
Each of the Nine, step out of the trees,
Each pledge their medicines to help you to see.
These Animals will stay by your side when you need them;
Two walking with you, the others stay hidden.
Carry their shields and listen to their speech,
It will help you accept all they have to teach.

Through the brilliance of morning light,
Have you wakened from the night.
Glad to see that you have stayed,
We know to Deity you've prayed.
Begin, we shall, this very morn;
To teach you of a life reborn.
One full of rejoicing life,
Where removéd is destructive strife.
Kneel at the water's edge, dear child,
And feel the sunlight grace your wiles.
For though the Grove is safe and true,
And nature's Mother good to you,
The World outside is dreadful cold,
And if I may be so bold,
They will not like to accept your plan.
My dear, the World won't understand.
Let your sisters and brothers we,
Teach you the Gifts of Deity.

As you kneel by the stream bank you spy,
A lovely site to catch your eye.
You dig with your hands through the rich brown soil,
And praises raise at your spoils.
Stones from many a place rest free,
Each with a different energy.
Some for grounding, some for love,
Some summon spirits from below or above.
Each of the Gems with a property its own,
You can learn more about them as your knowledge has grown.
Listen to the Stones, they can tell you a tale,
Whether it be moonstone, garnet or shale.
The Stones contain energy from life like you,
But the Stones desire most what is pure and true.
Keep an amethyst by your pillow and an onyx in your hand,
Rose quartz is for love, and Clear helps understand;
Just listen to their story and let your heart be free,
The Stones have vowed they will take care of thee.

While the Gods oft in heaven remain for the time,
They send their messengers if we need their sweet rhyme.
The Radiance by many names have become known,
But these Angels assist in making their good to be sown.
Nine ranks of Angels there are believed to be;
And not all these Angels appear like you and me.
Some have no form, some are like men.
Some are like the animals in the wild or words from your pen.
Gabriel, Jibrael, Michael most well known,
Not just for Christians but in others have been shown.
Each Angel strong, with their own creed and style,
Angels are the messengers the Gods send across the mile.
They only come at their own discretion,
Although it is said, there is a way to summon one.
The Angels are all around us.
Some are winged, most are just.
Angels, Archangels, Principalities, Powers, and Virtues;
Dominions, Thrones, Cherubim, and Seraphim too.

Times long past are shadowed gray,
A touch of something we feel each day.
We think we've led these lives before,
And coincidence makes us wonder more.
Perhaps you lived in Ancient Rome;
Maybe Egypt was your home.
Perhaps you come from a recent past,
A scene of fighting, or trumpet's blast.
You may be a warrior, truth be told,
But let your heart be strong and bold.
For with this knowledge, you may try,
To right the wrongs of time gone by.
The old Karmic rule has followed you,
So you have a chance to right your wrongs too.
What ever you do and whatever you say.
Don't let your head get in your way.
Because these Past things right from the start;
Deal not from the head, but from the heart.

A people lived once fair and true,
There was many things that the people knew.
These ancients are gone, but their knowledge remains,
Not lost but showing yellowed stains.
These teachings have weathered with time and age;
But more is to be learned at the turn of a page.
The Egyptian people had much to be shared.
For their Gods and Goddesses many sacrifices were prepared.
All of these Gods had a job as any other,
They were lead by Re, sun god and Pharaoh's father.
From the Gods, learned the Egyptians of many things,
Of life and beyond, wherever us our goodness sings.
Many of our stories can be traced back to their home and,
Their beautiful Isis was also praised by Romans.
They have many things to teach those who will hear,
For those who will lend the Ancients an ear.
For though they tell the tales of what happened long before,
This world in which we live today resembles it more and more.

Sometimes it's hard, others it's not,
To share with others the knowledge you've sought.
People are people and make mistakes,
But this is why we continue to take,
The abuse society will angry send;
But I'm sure someday it all will mend.
People are scared of what they don't know.
When we are accused of evil, this is why it is so.
When society opens his heart to the Truth,
Some of what he knows might be disproved.
All we can do is to give them time,
The Mother will someday finish her rhyme.
When this happens, she will start over again,
Her surface will be cleansed and reborn.
Only then will the world be a kind place once more;
We all shall restart, and reset life's scores.
But in the meantime don't be afraid to show,
Let them see who you are, even if they don't truly know.

Thanks :bow: I know it seems a bit long, but all of those poems were directly related - they appeared to be telling a story, so they would fit together better than separately.

oh wow, you really go tlent for poetry ^^
even tho my eyes now hurt frm reading on the screen >.< i couldnt stop just there XD
your poems are real open and thus i like them so much ^^

i myself am atheist ... pagan, whatever to call. well not complete atheist because i do believe in some higher power, tho i dont recognize any religion as it is here on our lovely planet as truth
but the most important thing to me is tolerance to everyone, and thats what comes through in your poems ^^

i wonder which religion you count yourself to? just curious ^^

You might look into Pantheism, sounds closer to what you're looking at. (Pantheism is basically belief in one Universal power that exists in everything, but is formless and unending) And thanks for the compliment ^_^

PS. I have always been fascinated by all religions - I have often referred to myself as an "Eclectic Spiritualist" because there are so many things from different religions that seem to fit in with my belief system. However, I do consider myself Pagan, I do believe in a Universal energy, and I do believe in majik .^_^.

i have looked at that pantheism topic and it is closer to me than religions existing, tho my belief is still different. but thanx for the hint anyways ^^

i'm real happy to see some other people being not limited to one religion and stating all others as wrong. lets pray for tolerance, in qhich ever way everyone of us prays ^^
